PROJECT: Three HQ reception sign

BACKGROUND

In 2014 Three Ireland acquired O2 Ireland from Telefonica. As a result the O2 offices in Dublin needed to be rebranded and the 600 existing O2 staff to be welcomed by their new boss and immersed in the Three brand.

OBJECTIVE

To design a reception sign which signals the change from a corporate building to a warm, innovative, creative office.

 

CONCEPT

Rather than replacing the existing O2 logo with the Three logo, the new sign echoes the friendly greeting of the reception staff. Unlike most brands, Three does not 'own' a colour - it is all colours. The installation is created from multi-coloured threads and nails.

 

It is both simple and complex and like the service offer - it is all about connections.
